In recent years, Bollywood films have demonstrated that movies can serve a variety of purposes, including entertainment, education, and social change. Prostitution and brothels are frequently depicted in movies for their sinister side. Anya, a film about human trafficking, is poised to set a new standard for the Hindi-language film industry. As the movie is suspenseful, it may come as a surprise that this full-length feature film contains hidden camera footage.
Here’s what Director Dr. Simmy Joseph has to say about his own personal experience: “Indian cinema is widely believed to be synonymous with masala films and explicit item sequences around the world. This is not the case at all. Many social issues like human trafficking and prostitution are frequently addressed in the Hindi film industry, which has a long history of producing high-quality films on these topics. We’re here to tell the truth about society for the benefit of our audience.
