Netflix’s Cursed: Review

This series is based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller and Thomas Weeler. Frank Miller is like Zack Snyder of comics and graphic novels. The show is pretty much an adaptation of the graphic novel, and so far it is fantastic! The season starts off really interesting and ends really interesting. As someone who is a huge fan of Arthurian legends, this is certainly a show recommended to fantasy fans and King Arthur fans.

There is only one major change in the series and that is Arthur himself. He’s not as good as the guy from Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur. But, that’s the only thing about the series which is a for many. Everything else is compelling, intriguing, interesting, and vivid. The colourful vibrant visuals, the main character, the scope, the eeriness of its earlier episodes, the acting, the music, the cinematography, the sound design, the plot, and the design of Excalibur are all loveable.

Netflix’s Cursed: Cast

Katherine Longford was called for the lead role in the show soon after Netflix announced it in 2018. Later in March 2019, Devon Terrell, Gustaf Skarsgard, Peter Mullan, Lily Newmark, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Daniel Sharman, Sebastian Armesto, Emily Coates, and Billy Jenkins were also given roles in the show.
