“Impudica/Brazen,” which was in the top five of Netflix’s top 10 recently, caught my eye because it was in the middle of the night and I wasn’t drowsy, so I decided to watch it. Despite the fact that, as I previously stated, I was not in the slightest bit sleepy when I began watching, it took me no more than five minutes to drift off to sleep after I was done. If that is any indication of the quality of the film, I shudder to think of what I would have missed had I stayed awake. if you want to know how to categorize this film, I can help you out. It’s a movie that’ll make you nod off and not entertain you; it can only be described as bad, and that’s as bad as it gets.
Based on Nora Roberts’ novel Brazen Virtue, Brazen is an American thriller to be released in 2022 and directed by Monika Mitchell with Alyssa Milano, Sam Page, and Matthew Finlan in the lead roles. On January 13, 2022, Netflix released it.
Her sister Kathleen’s custody struggle following a tumultuous divorce is causing Grace Miller (Alissa Milano) to see her after a gruelling book tour. Grace, on the other hand, has her misgivings, which are confirmed one eerie cherry-blossom-scented night by the death of one of Fantasy, Inc.’s operators. Grace’s life begins to resemble a scene from one of her own novels as she gets sucked into the investigation. Investigator Ed Jennings, one of her most devoted fans, cautions her that this isn’t fiction. Grace could be the next to go. To catch a killer more depraved than she could have ever dreamed of. When it comes to love and death, Ed isn’t the only one who can’t keep her away from the two.
There will always be good crime movies or series based on a good plot, a good acting level, comedy, and a variety, which is why series like CCI: Miami, Castle and Lucifer have been so popular. Even though they all look alike, they all have similar characteristics, and no matter how common or similar they are, people don’t stop seeing it and keep you interested in what is going to happen or anxious for the next chapter. One thing that does not happen with “Impudica” is that they make situations look easy and extremely unbelievable by making everything predictable. For example, there are scenes in which a serious situation is depicted, but the details are so poorly developed as to be laughable.

It was in the top ten of Netflix’s most popular titles for a while, which is a good thing because it would continue to mislead viewers into believing that it is a worthwhile film when, in fact, it is not. Although, as I’ve always said, there is a wide range of tastes and colours, I felt cheated after watching this film because it was a premiere or because it was at the top of the list. According to my opinion, if it weren’t for the fact that the movies on Netflix are ranked so highly by its users, we wouldn’t be compelled to watch them. I say that in a lighthearted tone because this movie was so boring that I only managed to lift my spirits for a few seconds in the final minutes, the rest was a total waste of time.
On the surface, it’s an action thriller about an infamous woman killer (Alyssa Milano), but in reality it’s a thriller about a woman writer (Grace Miller). Her sister Kathleen (Emilie Ullerup), who is dealing with a number of issues and is living a double life, forces her to travel. Are you aware of his penchant for the unexpected and the forced? To make it more interesting than the movie, Grace’s relationship with her neighbour began with an overheard conversation over a cup of coffee. Her neighbour, Ed (Sam Page), is a detective assigned to clear up what happened and the crime committed by Kathleen, who is also her neighbour. Try to get involved, looking for those responsible for the crimes and that moment becomes boring, already in the 30 minutes of the 90 minutes that this tape offers, it is known who the murderer is.. Uncomplicated and predicable in every way.
As I mentioned at the outset, I was on the verge of turning off the television to go to sleep during parts of this film. I have no idea how it made Netflix’s top 10, as it is a complete hoax. Normally, I would give a film a higher rating because I enjoy it and look for the positive aspects, but this one was truly awful. Everyone has the right to watch whatever they want, but I’d advise them to avoid this film because it’s a complete waste of time. It’s a bad situation.
